Even though the closest I’ve ever got to actually surfing was being hit in the face by my own board in the icy waters of Croyde Bay in Devon, I do like doing surf themed paintings every now and then. There’s just something about surfing isn’t there? You can totally understand why people love it. I’m guessing that painting surfers might be the closest I’ll ever get to actually standing up on a board, but at least I won’t be freezing my arse off when i’m doing it or shoehorning myself into a wet suit.
